Clarke I think what this quote means is that what we do whether it is right or wrong is going to leave a mark on the world. Maybe not every one will know about what you did or maybe they will but no matter what you do someone will know about it whether you want to or not. I think that it is better to do the right thing and be known for doing the right thing rather than to be known for doing the wrong thing. For example the man who killed 17 people at a high school in Florida will forever be known as a murderer. He left his mark on the world and know he is paying for what he did. He knew what he was doing wrong and he still chose to do it because he wanted attention. Everything you do has a consequence and it can be a positive one or a negative one. "Ask yourself is it right or wrong and act accordingly." - Otto Graham, Jr. I think what this quote means is that if you encounter a situation where you have to ask yourself if it is right or wrong you must act to whichever one you choose. If the situation is wrong do what you have to do to get out of that situation. If it is right act the right way so you don't make a mistake and make it because a bad situation for others. For example if you go to the park with your friends and the bring out drugs and start using them you should automatically know that it is a bad situation and you need to leave. Another example could be you are at a friends house and your having fun your instinct should be to act the right way and continue to have fun with them as long as it isn't harming anyone. Anytime I am going somewhere I always stop and think if it is a right or wrong thing and if its right I will go and if it is wrong I would not go.
