Presidents Day

Image result for presidents dayPresident's Day is Washington's birthday. It is a federal holiday in which it honors presidents of the United States. President's Day is celebrated on the third Monday of February in honor of George Washington the first president of the United States. On this holiday everyone takes a break from work or school to celebrate it. What my family does on Presidents day is we have a Bar-b-que. We cook meat or chicken and we invite our family over and play games or we catch up because we don't always have time to talk to one another. I spend time with my cousins the most.

"When a deep injury is done us, we never recover until we forgive." - Alan Paton Forgive: to stop feeling angry or resentful toward someone for an offense, flaw, or mistake. I agree with this quote because it is best to forgive those who have done wrong towards us because you wont ever get past that grudge until you forgive. For example, if someone does something towards you to anger or hurt you, and you don't forgive them, then you will never get past it and it will just damage you. I forgive people when I feel like they are truly sorry and even if they don't  move past it because after a while it become irrelevant and unnecessary to be angry at them for so long. I also think its healthier to let things go because being angry takes a toll on you and on your body and on your mind.

Duties and Responsibilities: U sing mechanical force and movements, manual therapy, exercise therapy and electrotherapy, remediates impairments and promotes mobility and function. Salary: $84,020 USD Education: doctor of physical therapy degree, bachelors degree, classes in anatomy, physiology, biology, chemistry and physics Demands or Needs: reading comprehension, active listening, writing, speaking, science skills, critical thinking, active learning, learning strategies. Reflection: I think it would be fun to do this job. I don't think I would ever get bored of this job because there are different people to work with. A lot of school is needed to become a physical therapist, but I think that in the end it would be worth it. You need a lot of skills to become a physical therapist too and I think it will be difficult to develop all of the skills needed. But being able to help someone who has trouble with their bodily movements seems like a really good thing to do.
