Thanksgiving break

My thanksgiving week was fun I went out and watched movies and I spent time with my family for Thanksgiving. I read my book for my independent reading assignment and I did my book report right after. I went to Oxnard to visit family and had a lot of fun with my cousins. I watched my favorite T.V show. I went out with my grandma to the movies because she wanted to go watch the movie Coco so I joined her so she wouldn't be alone. I also went to the mall to go buy some clothes that I have been wanting. On Thanksgiving day everyone brought a different dessert I wanted to try them all but I didn't want to risk it and get sick. Besides all of the things I did I just stayed home and watched T.V or stayed on my phone. I had fun over break I stayed at my grandmas the entire time but I had fun.

I agree with this quote because it is best to forgive those who have done wrong towards us because you wont ever get past that grudge until you forgive. For example, if someone does something towards you to anger or hurt you, and you don't forgive them, then you will never get past it and it will just damage you. I forgive people when I feel like they are truly sorry and even if they don't  move past it because after a while it become irrelevant and unnecessary to be angry at them for so long. I also think its healthier to let things go because being angry takes a toll on you and on your body and on your mind.

Intelligence

"Intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character, that is the goal of true education" - Dr.Martin Luther King Jr. I think what this quote means is that intelligence is not the only important part of education. You need to have good character in other words you need to be a good person. You can be very smart and that's useful but if your not nice or kind then it won't matter because people won't want to work with you. In the future it is important that people work with you because you can't do everything by yourself. You will need help sometimes and if you aren't kind then no one will want to help you so how will you finish the job. For example if you are a very intelligent person working in marketing but you are greedy and mean and you are given a job to sell a product with a partner no one will want to help you because of your personality. "In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing." - Theodore Roosevelt I agree with this quote because when you are given a decision to make you always need to choose the right decision. For example, if you are given the decision to report someone who is being bullied or join in on the bullying. You will most definitely report the bullying because it is the right thing to do and you would be making the right decision. I always try to make the best decision. I always pay attention to how it will impact me and everyone around me. I wouldn't want to make a decision where it's going to impact me in a good way and other in a bad way or vise versa. I would want the decision to impact everyone in a good way, including me.
