Intelligence

"Intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character, that is the goal of true education" - Dr.Martin Luther King Jr.

I think what this quote means is that intelligence is not the only important part of education. You need to have good character in other words you need to be a good person. You can be very smart and that's useful but if your not nice or kind then it won't matter because people won't want to work with you. In the future it is important that people work with you because you can't do everything by yourself. You will need help sometimes and if you aren't kind then no one will want to help you so how will you finish the job. For example if you are a very intelligent person working in marketing but you are greedy and mean and you are given a job to sell a product with a partner no one will want to help you because of your personality. On the other hand if you are intelligent and have a good personality and your are given a job in the same business everyone will want to help you. Having a good personality is important because you attract more people who care about you and who value your time.
