"We need the courage to start and continue what we should do, and the courage to stop what we shouldn't do." - Richard L. Evans

I think what this quote means is that we need to continue doing good things and things that will have a positive impact on us instead of doing things that will have a negative impact on us. For example When you are hanging out with some friends and they start doing drugs, you should already know that those are the wrong friends for you and you need new friends. On the other hand if you have friends who are encouraging you to get good grades who are supporting you then those friends are the ones you should stay friends with. Another example would be to get good grades and stop slacking off. Its important to do the right thing because it makes yourself and others feel good. We shouldn't be influenced by people who make bad decisions because then we will do bad things ourselves. We need to surround ourselves with positive people.
