Nurse Home Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities: overseeing staff and personnel, financial matters, medical care, medical supplies, facilities and other tasks required to run a nursing home facility.

Salary: $121,661

Education: A bachelor's degree in healthcare administration. However, most nursing home administrators have master's degrees in long-term care administration, health services administration, public health or business administration.

Demand or need for this profession: Attending a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) is strongly recommended.

Reflection:Would you like to become one? why or Why not?       I think I would want to become one because elderly people are sweet and kind and helping them is a good thing to do. Sometimes parents or grandparent will be left at a nursing home and never get any visitors because they don't want to anyone's problem. I think that is a terrible thing to do because after all they have done for their family they get left there. Making people happy would make me happy.
