George Washington

"Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for 'tis better to be alone than in bad company. - George Washington

I think what this quote means is that you should pick the right people to be friends with. I also believe that it is better to be alone than to be with bad company. For example, if you hang out with people that use drugs and you don't use drugs the peer pressure will start to get to you. Eventually you will start using drugs yourself. Its better to be with people that actually care about you and who value your opinions or your way of seeing things. Those people really do care because they listen and they act or they know when somethings wrong an they will do something about it because they are your true friends.
