"They're only truly great who are truly good." - George Chapman

I don't understand this quote because it is saying that those who are truly great are truly good too. Unless it would mean that the people who do good are considered great or vice-versa. For example, if you do good things like donate to charity a lot, or things like that you are considered a great person.
